Do you have confidence is prescribing exercises to your patients? Current NICE guidelines recommend that manual therapy is only effective when used in conjunction with rehabilitative exercise.
This workshop outlines guidelines for designing a 4 stage rehabilitative exercise programme for patients, and give practitioners confidence in selecting, teaching and checking patient’s progress with exercise.
Brother and Sister, Matt and Emily Ward team up to deliver this Exercise Prescription workshop.
Matt is a qualified Personal Trainer and Sports Therapist, whereas Emily brings a more clinical angle as a Registered Osteopath.
This course gives practitioners a 4 step frame work to design exercise programmes for patients; taking them from acute rehabilitation to strengthening and injury prevention.
Practitioners will be taught how to identify appropriate exercises for patients with differing levels of ability, and to scale exercises up or down dependent on their patient’s progress.
This course is recommended for Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Sports Therapists and other professionals working in a clinical or athletic environment.
We regret that cancellations with less than 7 day’s notice cannot be refunded.
